Exciting News for the W Hotel and Residences in the Theatre District in Back Bay

The Residences at the W Hotel received their Certificate of Occupancy last week. Of the 123 residential units, 14 units officially went under agreement yesterday, December 21 in MLS. There are 17 different floorplans, with studios starting from 445K, 1 Beds from 635K, and 2 beds from $1,155M. Currently they are 20% sold. Let’s sell the remaining 80% soon. The W Boston, a 28-story hotel, opened on October 30, 2009. It is the 34th W worldwide, and is expected to be among 50 W Hotels by the end of 2011. The $243 million mixed-use project boasts 235 hotel rooms, 123 residential condominiums, 5,000 square feet of meeting space, a restaurant, retail space, and underground parking – among other amenities. The W’s signature ‘Bliss Spa’ will open in early 2010. From the comforts of the cozy W Bar with stylish spaces to mix and mingle, to savory bites at Market by Jean-Georges, there are decadent indulgences dished in distinctive settings await your taste buds.

This downtown development replaces a surface parking lot in the heart of the Theater District and is expected to increase the City’s hotel tax revenue and increase Boston’s tax base annually by $3 million.
