Revised East Boston Waterfront Apartment Building Plans Up For Approval

Tonight, developer Philip DeNormandie will present a scaled back version of his plans to revamp the Hodge Boiler Works site to the Boston Redevelopment Authority.
If these plans are accepted, a five-story 95-unit apartment building, featuring a café, 30-slip marina, and 52-car garage could be headed for East Boston.
According to the Herald, the East Boston Savings Bank is eager to provide financing for the $30 million redevelopment project.
East Boston is Mayor Menino’s latest redevelopment initiative, as he looks to bring transformation to the area similar to the improvements seen in South Boston.
